Our way: Offers & subsidies

The journey of Draw my Business GmbH began in 2016 at the Chair of Software Engineering at RWTH Aachen University. Initially, we focused on research projects and founded a YouTube channel and published our customer learning videos, but also learning videos produced by students as part of lectures.

In 2019, we expanded our offering with the education store for digital media. Here we offer a wide range of educational videos, video courses and other learning media for purchase and download.

Thanks to the support of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss and the Mittelstandsförderung Innovativ & Digital (MID), we were able to launch the Digital Professions Academy in 2021.

Also in 2021, we received funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection for a feasibility study on the integration of videos in art and culture.

Since 2022, in addition to our various customer video projects, we have been working on the development of a cultural video platform, supported at the start by the Rhein-Kreis Neuss. This platform will offer a diverse selection of cultural content and demonstrates our commitment to digital education and culture.

Today, we advise our customers on a wide range of video projects and are continuously expanding our web presence Academy of digital professions, Education store und unsere Cultural video platform.

"Draw my Business" - Where does the name come from?

When we began our research in early 2016, we were fascinated by the 6.5 million "Draw my Life" videos on YouTube. These unique time-lapse videos, in which people illustrate and comment on their life stories on a whiteboard or similar media, had already gained a large following since their creation in 2011. Both celebrities and "normal" people had published their own "Draw my Life" videos.

Inspired by this phenomenon, we chose the name "Draw my Business" for our company. This name symbolizes our belief that every business can benefit from individual and creative marketing and educational videos.
